limitations and also includes a toolchain for the STM32 limited to 32kb. Limited to one year

How does the STM8 Free compiler works? What is included? How do I register?
Starting February 2016, STMicroelectronics and Cosmic have entered an agreement to make the
STM8 Compiler free for all users.
The free compiler has no technical limitations and is very similar to the 32k-limited
compiler that was available before it.
In order to use the free compiler you first need to download it, then register with us in
order to get the license file that will allow you to use the compiler.
The license is valid for 1 year and is renewable. All kind of projects (including
commercial) can be developed with this license.
