The USBee QX Platform delivers the highest level of integration and functionality in the test instrument market. With 4 analog channels and 24 digital I/Os, the USBee QX combines four functions into one; protocol analyzer, logic analyzer, mixed signal oscilloscope and signal generator. Unlike other mixed signal oscilloscopes which charge extra for each serial protocol, the USBee QX includes numerous serial protocols including I2C, SPI, Async, SDIO, 1-wire, I2S, CAN and support even custom protocols.
Mixed-Signal Multi-level Protocol Decoding
Unique to USBee products, protocols and packets are displayed in human readable packet format, having automatically been translated from HEX to your custom description. With an 896 million sample buffer size and Advanced Search properties, users can significantly reduce debug time by eliminating chunks of grunt work that would typically chew up man-days or man-weeks of effort, and yet improve bug detection capability. Its portability and low prices allow every engineer or firmware developer to have an USBee QX on their desk.
Packet Presenter
With standard logic analyzers, engineers have been accustomed to counting bits, manually decoding protocols, and parsing embedded bus traffic into useable fields, making the debug process tedious and painful. This process is eliminated in the patented Packet Presenter that is included in the USBee QX. The Packet Presenter presents the packet in a human readable format, interpreting the HEX value so that the corresponding function is displayed within each field within the entire packet. In other words, the bus traffic is displayed in a graphical, easy to understand field format that eliminates the need to use a cross reference for the HEX to function for each register/bit location. This natural graphical format accelerates the debug process, making it easy for the firmware developer or test engineer to quickly follow the sequence of events at the application layer leading to the failure.
Custom Builder
The USBee QX Suite can be fully customized for your specific debug needs using the PacketPresenter, Custom Protocol Decoder, or USBee QX Toolbuilder. The PacketPresenter is a 7-Layer Configurable Protocol Decoder that displays bus data as packets like your data sheet. You can create your own protocol decoders using the super-simple USBee QX Suite Custom Decoder source code. Finally, the USBee QX Toolbuilder lets you create your own complete applications to utilize the power of the USBee QX device.
Fully Upgradeable As a multi-function test platform, the USBee QX can easily add functionality by downloading software available on the USBee Web site.
