关于Amazone的电纸书 kindle 3的一些问题,用过的朋友介绍一下。

最近关注了Amazone的电纸书 kindle 3。看着挺动心的，至少比汉王的东西实在多了，这个东西要是能在国内开放，那么汉王就只有去搞房地产了。

我买它的主要目的就是看PDF，看电子的datasheet。这里面又分中文，英文，扫描版，非扫描版

我的问题是
1，wifi版的kindle3 能通过无线LAN就上网吗？像什么Ti.com，ST.com都能看吗。能通过Wifi传文件呢？
2, 3G版的kindle3在国内有实际价值吗？
3，kindle3 还分什么注_册版，有什么用?必须注_册吗？
4，内置的字典是英-英翻译吗？是否能英-中翻译。
5，内置的字典能否对PDF文件的屏幕取词？（非扫描版）
6，不用多看系统，能否看中文版的PDF文件？（非扫描版）
7，对PDF文件的支持能否自由平移及缩放？方便吗？
8，原版的OS听说对中文支持不好，要装多看系统。这个系统是否有什么负面的影响，听说特费电。字体也不好.
9，多看系统和wifi冲突吗？

1,可以,但是我保证你从来没有这么糟糕的上网体验.
2,有价值,基本联通WCDMA覆盖的地方都能上网,但是上网参考第一条,ourdev你只能打开帖子列表,点帖子会提示你不允许打开多个窗口.
3,3G版必须注_册,否则3G就成摆设了,不建议非注_册版,因为货源不明...
4,可以英中,换词典
5，可以
6，没问题
7，不是很方便,不过也可以
8，无所谓,费电的确是有点,字体就不评价了,萝卜青菜
9，不冲突.

那么 kindle 3 只用原装系统，不用多看系统的话，看中文的PDF是没有问题的，对吗？

用过kinle3之后决定买ipad了。ipad基本上以上问题都可以完美解决，kindle3限制比较多，上网灰常不爽

kindle and ipad are two different devices. kindle is a single purpose device: to read ebooks. it is extremely portable and easy to use, even under direct sunlight and with very long battery life.

the ipad is a multi-purpose device. if you want to use it primarily as a book reader, especially outdoors, you will be very disappointed.

what ipad does well and the kindle doesn't is browsing. the kindle's browser is barely useable. and the ipad's browser is very user friendly.

so if you use the device to read books, and you buy ebooks from amazon, kindle is a superb way to go.

if you use the device more like a mobile computer, and reading books isn't that high on your list of priorities, get the ipad instead.

IPAD与kindle完全不是一个类型的产品，现在无论哪种彩色显示器看时间长了眼睛都不舒服，除了彩色的电子墨水屏。

我用的kindle dx9.7寸的屏幕看pdf不错，但还是嫌小，有些文件要横屏看，kindle3是6寸的屏幕，看pdf肯定太小了，要反复移动了。
原版系统很稳定，多看还有待改善。不过重启一下就可以切换多看和原版，很方便。

我正关注Kindle DXG，lz要看PDF，Kindle3的屏幕太小了，如果是扫描版的pdf会痛苦的要死。11楼说的对，9.7寸的屏还比A4小一圈呢，还是加钱买Kindle DXG吧

I was just watching a kindle commercial on TV.

this geeky guy was next to a beautiful lady reading her book on kindle, under the sun.

the guy was struggling with his ipad so he looked to the lady, asking "how can you do that?"

taking off her sunglasses, the lady said: "it is a kindle. and it is only $139.".

putting on her sunglasses, she said to him: "at least you should pay more for your sunglasses."

the ability to read the kindle under full sun is really an amazing, especially if you go outdoor a lot.

As to larger sized kindle: my suggestion is no. one of the kindle's main appeal is its portability. to me, at least.
