I am a big fan of Adele. Love her voice, lyrics and her as a person. She reminds me of Jewel: amazingly gifted. Give Adele a piano (or Jewel a guitar) and they can sign the stars out. Adele has a substance.

On the form side, Adele is fat, ugly, foul-mouthed and cannot dance to save her life. She laughs funny.

That's in sharp contrast vs. most American pop-signers (Lady Gaga, or Beyonce, etc.).

Over the last 10 years or so, I have gone to two concerts: both Adele's - well, I was given a ticket to a Swift Taylor concert.

Between substance vs. form, I chose form everyday.

it requires a lot more to assess substance than form.

an extreme case of form vs. substance is Lala Del Rey's Video Game. A 100% fake, and manufactured signer who performed superbly in the studio but otherwise cannot sign.

Gangnam Style is #1 on iTune and #2 on Billboard.

Psy was also teaching Schmidt of Google the horse dance yesterday.
